PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS: We have now started running this workshop again, albeit with some restrictions regarding the number of households that can attend together. There are some dates available for booking via the online calendar but, if your booking involves more than one household, please contact us first so we can ensure that you can attend safely. Additionally, if you have a voucher that is close to expiring, please get in touch.
Come with the family and each make a beautiful hammered ring in silver, a lovely keepsake to treasure forever! The price of £75 covers up to four attendees. Up to two more people can attend at a cost of £10 each. All tools and materials are included in the price. Your tutor, Leah, will be on hand to guide you step by step and ensure you all take home a piece of jewellery to be proud of. Leah will carry out the hot works for any youngsters attending so it is a safe workshop for even quite young children.
The workshop generally lasts for about 1.5 hours, give or take half an hour depending on the number of people attending and their ages. Available dates are ringed in green on the booking calendar to the right.
Workshops are held in the basement of our shop at 59 The Old High Street, Folkestone, CT20 1RN. There are a number of steps to the basement so this may be difficult for those with mobility issues.
There is no vehicle access to The Old High Street during the day but there is a bus stop a short walk away on Tontine Street. The nearest car park, on Tram Road, is also located nearby. The parking fee is £1.20 per hour up to a maximum of £8 for the whole day.
