Owing to the Coronavirus pandemic, new workshop bookings have been temporarily suspended. We intend to reschedule all existing bookings so will be contacting everyone who has already booked, so please bear with us if you have not yet heard from us. If you have not yet booked but have a voucher that is close to expiring, please contact us for assistance.
Voucher code not working
We have to manually input voucher codes into our booking system before they work, so there may be a time lag between you buying your voucher and being able to make your booking. This shouldn't normally be for more than a few hours but, if you are still unable to use your code after 24 hours, please contact us for assistance.
Studio Location and Parking
Workshops are held in the basement of our premises at 59 The Old High Street, Folkestone, CT20 1RN. There are a number of steps to the basement so this may be difficult for those with mobility issues.
Please note that there is no vehicle access to The Old High Street during the day so the shop and workshop can only be reached by foot. However, there is a bus stop a short walk away on Tontine Street and the nearest car park, on Tram Road, is also located nearby. The parking fee is £1.20 per hour up to a maximum of £8 for the whole day.
Health and Safety
Please do not wear open-toed shoes and opt for comfortable, non-flammable attire. Long hair should be tied back during the workshop.
Children and babies
Children are welcome to attend most of our workshops but must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. Please contact us if you require guidance about whether or not a particular workshop is suitable.
Breast-feeding mothers are welcome to bring babies along, as we do have a space where mothers can sit down to nurse. Please note though that the studio is not the best environment for very young children.
Our premises and all of our workshops are fully-insured.
We appreciate that people can not always attend a planned workshop. In the event that this happens, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange an alternative workshop date for you. If you wish to completely cancel your booking, we require 1 month's written notice. Where 1 month's notice has been given we will refund you the cost of your workshop less a £15 administration fee.
